Vanessa Hudgens will star in CBS Films new project Beastly: A modern-day take on Beauty and the Beast, with Nessa playing the role of the fair maiden. Set in Manhattan, the movie’s ‘Beast’ is a handsome rich kid with a mean streak.

When he ditches a date, the yet-to-be cast character turns out to be a witch
who curses him to become everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell. The film will shoot in Montreal in Summer/ Fall 2009.

According to E! Online, Alex Pettyfer is in talks to be Vanessa’s costar. He most recently appeared in Wild Child opposite Emma Roberts & in an ad campaign for Burberry.

Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Captain Douchebag spend the day shopping together at Best Buy in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 15-year-old popstar just returned from her European promo tour for sophomore CD Breakout yesterday. While in Paris, Miley, performed 7 Things and added at the end of her song, “I still hate you.” The hit song is rumored to be about ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

Douchebag, 20, Dressed up as Nick Jonas for Halloween this past Friday.

Nick Jonas (diabetes at Dodgers Stadium

Nick Jonas kicks off National Diabetes Month by attending the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

The youngest of the famed Jonas Brothers band, Nick, 16, has a partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care and families can log on to Nick’s simple wins where they can check out more about his personal experiences with the disease.

For all of you Jonas Brothers fans out there, Joe Jonas is once again a single man! Joe and country singer Taylor Swift have ended their relationship and called it quits.

A close source to the couple said the two, who dated for several months, split in early October. Continuing about, they stated that the Disney star broke up with Taylor on the phone, stating, “He broke her heart.”

The “Tim McGraw” crooner, 18, and the “Lovebug” singer, 19, never confirmed their relationship. But Ms Swift did say, “He’s an amazing guy, and anyone would be lucky to be dating him,” to the reporters at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

Reps on both sides have declined to comment – unwilling to speak about their clients’ personal lives.
